I hate the word blog..just say it outloud.

Now that I have said that, welcome to my blog. I am here to write, vent, speak my ideas and hopefully find people with similar interests. I am simply a woman in my early twenties who has lived all over the east and west coasts of the United States, spending most of my life in southern California, and somehow earning a BA in American Studies concentrating on urban culture and ethnic studies.

I wanted to tell you a little about me so you have an idea where I am coming from, but not enough for you to have too much bias on what I have to say. I could talk endlessly about cultures, race, religion, gender, lgbt, and bi-racial studies, all of which I hold deep and personal interest. Also, being a young women living in Los Angeles I unfortunately just got cable again, after a year of avoiding it, which just fuels my obsession with fashion and the knowabouts of hollywood.

I will admit my first few attempts at entertaining blogs will propably fall short, but I ask that you give me a chance to get my fingers comfortable and come back and see what I am up to. My hope is to simply put my thoughts out there and entertain and possibly intrigue you by just doing what I love to do on a daily basis; analyize the crap out of everything in our daily lives and write about it.
